Avengers: Doomsday is all set to release in December this year and has kept fans on their toes for the next big crossover event.
Doomsday is going to be the first multiverse crossover event in the MCU since it was teased in Avengers: Endgame and later explored further in the Loki TV series, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Deadpool & Wolverine.
Since then, Marvel has been bringing characters from different universes to fuel fans’ desire. One of the most popular such instances was Henry Cavill’s appearance as Wolverine in Deadpool & Wolverine.
This has kept fans’ expectations high, as they expect no less from Avengers: Doomsday, which is bringing back Fox’s original X-Men lineup, including Ian McKellen’s Magneto, Patrick Stewart’s Professor X, and James Marsden’s Cyclops.
Other confirmed characters are Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the New Avengers (who were initially known as the Thunderbolts), Shuri’s Black Panther (Letitia Wright), the Fantastic Four, Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), Sam Wilson’s Captain America (Anthony Mackie), Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), Gambit (Channing Tatum), and M’Baku (Winston Duke).
We also expect other characters such as Spider-Man, Hulk, and many more to join the team to face Doomsday.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to release on December 18, 2026, and is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.
