Finding eggs is one of the most fun ways to spend time outside of collecting wild animals in Aniimo. You can go out and look for nests, collect eggs from those nests, and take them home to watch them hatch. In addition to being a great way to obtain new party members, it also gives you an opportunity to explore areas that are normally difficult to get to. In this guide, we will provide you with information about where to locate eggs, how to access some of the more challenging nests, and how to utilize the Hatchinator to turn the eggs into new additions to your party.

Nest Detection At Idyll
Eggs can be found throughout the world of Idyll, with most of them located in nests. The game will provide clues as to where to search for these nests. When searching, pay attention to any glowing lights, tall rock formations, and distorted tree trunks, as many nests may be found on elevated terrain. Additionally, look for traversal puzzles, jumping flowers, burning shrubs, and tunnels/burrows are all indicators that there is a nearby item of value.
When you first find a nest, some of these nests will not be accessible. Some of the areas require that you Twine with an Aniimo of a specific type (e.g., Water) so that you may access the nest located in the center of a deep lake. If you find a nest that is inaccessible, make sure to mark the position and then return when your team has become more diverse.
Use Blooms To Navigate
The fast travel option available with the Bloom will make finding nests significantly easier. Every time you come across a Bloom, activate it, as this will open up the map and allow you to quickly travel from place to place. In addition to being able to use the Map Menu to choose a nearby Bloom to return to the Outpost, you can also use this feature when you need to hatch some eggs.
Eggs can also be obtained in many other ways.
Eggs are produced most reliably in nests; however, there are other sources as well. These additional sources include:
- The Companion Handbook (Battle Pass) has multiple egg rewards.
- Elite Training is one of the Core Courses and includes many Journey Quests.
- Each day, if you complete all of your tasks, you get a free egg.
- Events give away egg rewards when you meet a goal.
- If you have a lack of eggs, completing daily activities and special events will help maintain your egg supply with minimal effort.
Operation: Egg Theft
There is a more challenging option for players who are already very skilled. Operation: Egg Heist is a PvPvE mode that offers rewards in the form of eggs. Operation: Egg Heist is a Level 50 activity that will become available once you have reached the Veteran Pathfinder Rank. Because of this, Operation: Egg Heist will not be immediately accessible. During Operation: Egg Heist, you need to excavate an egg from its nest, Twine with it to gain control over it, and transport it to the Egg Boat for extraction.
However, it is a high-risk activity, and if you fall during the egg heist, all items in your backpack and the gear that you used will be lost. You should view the egg heist as a long-term objective and utilize your nest until such time as you have built a group.
How To Hatch Eggs
After getting your first egg, go to the outpost and look for the Hatchinator, an egg-shaped incubator machine. To find out how to use this machine, read below.
- Choose the egg from the Hatchinator that you would like to hatch.
- In the bottom right-hand side of the description menu, you can find a timer.
- The process will begin when you place your egg into the incubator.
- You should take care of other tasks until it hatches.
- As soon as the item is available, you will be notified.
- Return to the hatchinator when the egg has been warmed up, give it a little love (pet it), and select Claim to have your newly hatched Aniimo join you as part of your team.
Hatching takes time for several reasons. First of all, the egg has to develop before it can hatch. This development includes developing the embryo inside the egg as well as growing the shell around the egg. Second, once the egg is fully developed, it takes time for the chick to emerge from the egg. The process of emerging from the egg involves breaking open the shell with its beak and then squeezing out of the opening. It also takes time for the chick to learn how to stand up on its own. After standing up, the chick must find food and water. Finally, the chick must learn how to protect itself from predators.

As the egg gets harder to find (rarer), it takes longer to hatch. For example, Blue eggs will take less time to hatch than Purple eggs, and Purple eggs will take less time to hatch than Yellow eggs. In addition, the egg hatching timer operates in real time, meaning that if an egg is very rare, it may take several hours to hatch. Incredible and Alpha eggs are estimated to require about two and a half hours to hatch. At the same time, Legendary eggs can take as many as five hours to hatch. Furthermore, because the egg hatching timer continues to operate even when you are not actively interacting with the egg hatching machine, there is no reason to wait at the machine. Instead, use this waiting period to complete daily tasks, line up additional quest lines, or conduct exploration runs.
How To Maximize The Effectiveness Of Hatchinator
The Hatchinator has room for 3 eggs. Therefore, you can use multiple timers at one time. If you find yourself needing more than one Hatchinator as your egg supply increases, you may purchase additional Hatchinators in your Homeland for 320 Gold per unit.
Eggs have different values some have specific types of Aniimos (each type has a name), and others provide opportunities for better Aniimos.
There are 13 levels of egg quality (Ordinary, Good, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Divine, Godly, Celestial, Cosmic, Ultimate, Perfect, and Incredible), which means that it would be wise to use your higher-quality eggs when you can coordinate with other factors rather than simply using them as soon as possible.
