Flying is also one of the easiest ways to get around the world in Aion 2 without having to use a teleport. You can obtain this ability very early on in the game by completing the tutorial. The downside to this is that your wings are powered by a stamina-based system called Flight Power, which takes some time to recharge. If you have ever been dropped out of the sky halfway to where you were headed, then you are familiar with how frustrating that can be.
The good news is that you have two methods to manage this problem. First, you can increase your overall Flight Power by obtaining additional Wings. Second, you can acquire a movement technique which allows you to utilize your current Flight Power more effectively. This guide will provide information regarding both techniques as well as some helpful practices for making extended travels smoother.

The Fly Technology
You should begin with this trick because it’s free and will allow you to quickly apply what you learn. The Fly Tech is a method of movement that allows you to move farther using the same amount of Flight Power. You are able to achieve this by capitalizing on the momentum generated by your speed boost. Therefore, you continue to travel at high speeds during those short periods of time when you aren’t flying.
Here’s How It Works
- Press V when you are ready to fly.
- Hold down “W” to walk forward, and quickly press “Shift” to sprint.
- Immediately following the boost, hit V once more to exit flight mode. When you exit flight mode, your character will maintain the momentum created by the boost.
- Press the V key another time, and you will be flying through the air again.
I will repeat the entire sequence.
At first, this may seem difficult, as the timing of when to use the boost and when to toggle is important. You should practice this in an area where there are no enemies (e.g. open space), so that you can get the rhythm down. Once you have been practicing for a short period of time, it will begin to feel like a continuous action, and your gauge will last significantly longer on large courses.
How Does Flight Power Work
The flight power gauge is a representation of the time you have available to fly. As you continue to fly, your flight power gauge will drain. However, it will refill as long as you remain stationary on the ground. A second source states that the flight power gauge can also be refilled while gliding and that gliding requires significantly less flight power than does powered flight. Therefore, if you are attempting to cross a large distance, combining short periods of flying with gliding or traveling along the surface of the earth may prove to be a more efficient method of transportation than simply exhausting all of your flight power immediately.
In other words, no matter how high your level goes, and no matter what kind of gear you equip, you won’t be able to increase your Maximum Flight Power. Your Maximum Flight Power can only go up when you obtain more Wings.
In addition to the Owned Effect and Equipped Effect, there is also a third type of effect, known as a Wings Effect. Wings effects are essentially a hybrid of both types of effects. They can be considered an Owned Effect because you must purchase the wings first; however, once purchased, you will always have access to the wings effect. On the other hand, the wings effect can be considered an Equipped Effect because you can equip them at any time.
Once equipped, you can use the Wings Effect. The most important difference between a Wings Effect and other forms of effects is that with a Wings Effect, you do not need to take any action in order to get the benefits of the effect. For example, if you wanted to receive the benefit of a Health Boost, you would first need to buy a Health Potion.
Then, you would need to consume the potion in order to receive the health boost. However, if you had a Wings Effect that gave you a health boost, you wouldn’t need to do anything other than wear the wings.

Another example is a Damage Increase. If you wanted to increase your damage, you would need to equip a weapon that increased your damage. Alternatively, you could find an item that increased your damage when equipped. Finally, you could find an enchantment that increased your damage when applied to a piece of armor.
All three examples require you to perform some action in order to receive the benefits of the effects. However, if you had a Wings Effect that increased your damage, you wouldn’t need to do anything other than wear the wings. Therefore, Wings Effects are superior to all other forms of effects since they do not require any action from the player to activate the effect.
Every pair of Wings has two different types of stats:
- The effect is active for as long as you own the wings, regardless of whether or not you use them.
- Equipped effects are effective only as long as you wear the item. However, once the item is removed, the effect is lost.
The first type of effect is flight power. As such, each time you acquire a new set of wings, the total amount of flight power available to you will increase, regardless of whether you ultimately use those wings or not. This is essentially equivalent to acquiring an achievement; each wing acquired provides a permanent benefit.
At this point in time, there are 28 types of Wings available for players to acquire within Aion 2. Players may view all of these Wings in the Wings Tab. Players will have access to the Wings Tab once they complete the initial tutorial. The Wings Tab will display the appearance of each type of Wing, the method of acquiring each type of Wing, and the effects provided by each type of Wing. To access the Wings Tab players should use the hotkey Alt + C. Once the player accesses the Wings Tab, they should scroll down to the bottom of the page and locate All Applied Effects. Underneath All Applied Effects, players should locate All Owned Effects and then find their Flight Power Total. If the player’s Flight Power Total is low, then the player has a single solution: acquire additional types of Wings.
As noted in another guide, improving the Owned Effect of your Wings is also an option. Therefore, if you have a number of Wings with Flight Power, it may be beneficial to upgrade them.
Difference Between Flight Power and Flight Speed
The difference between flight power and flight speed. Flight power is the amount of time you can remain in the air. Flight speed refers to the rate at which you travel through the air. You should be careful to understand that although they both sound similar, they serve different purposes. For example, some titles like professional extractor and cogni executioner provide a stat called flight speed. While flight speed will increase the speed of your flight, it does not affect how long you can fly for. This means that if you have a faster flight with the same gauge, it will deplete at the same rate. Therefore, if your primary objective is to make longer flights, then you should prioritize flight power over flight speed.
Where Can I Get More Wings
If having more Flight Power requires you to collect Wings, it would be helpful for you to learn how you can obtain them. There are several ways to get Wings in this game, according to one of the guides. These include exploring the world, completing quests, participating in special events, buying them from the Auction Store, winning PvP battles, and using the Substance Morph feature. Among all of these options, exploring is the best way to obtain Wings because it allows players to open chests and find Hidden Cubes.
Some other things you might want to know:
- You get your first set of pairs through the early game ascension quest.
- Some Wings are created using a combination of two separate materials.
Some examples of these pairs include the Warrior and Conqueror Wings. However, both of these are only obtainable via Player versus Player (PvP) activities.
You should look at the event calendar and the marketplace on a regular basis, as there may be times when other players will sell their extra wings.
The best way to decide which set of wings will work best for your needs is to check out the Wings section in the game’s menus first. If you are going to be using your wings to travel, this step is particularly important. Each pair of wings has its own unique set of attributes that can help or hinder you as you explore the world.
Long Trips Can Be Made Much Simpler By Establishing A Few Habits
When you’ve got a good amount of flight power and the fly tech has been learned, there are some basic things that you can do:
Instead of taking one long trip to cover a large distance, break down your travel plans into smaller segments. Take off from your starting point, fly to an intermediate destination, allow some time for your fuel level to return to normal, and then depart for the next leg of your journey.
Gliding will cost much less of your meter than flying completely; therefore, use gliding when going down hills or from a higher point.
Short trips do not require use of the Flight Power function; walking or running are sufficient to traverse short distances, thus allowing players to preserve their Flight Power gauges for use in longer journeys.
The use of the Flight Power gauge while participating in Player-vs-Player (PvP) zone battles is one of the most common mistakes made by new players. When you run out of Flight Power mid-fight, it can be extremely detrimental to your chances of winning. Craftable consumables and some other types of items have been known to temporarily restore Flight Power. Therefore, before entering any dangerous PvP zones, make sure that you are stocked up with enough of these consumables/items.
Not every area has the same type of flight allowed. There are areas like cities or safe zones that may limit the amount of flight possible, and there are areas that have PvP rules that will only let players glide. Do not assume you will be able to fly anywhere you go.
