Kingdom Hearts has made its way to Fortnite. As part of the Chapter 7 Season 4 crossover event, players were able to unlock Sora, Kairi, Riku, and Roxas. However, players could also unlock Sora for free. Below you will find a complete guide on the timing of when each skin will be released, how much each skin costs, and how to get the skin for Free.
The skin was released on January 29, 2019. It has a price of $14.99 and can be purchased through the PlayStation Store or Xbox One Store. In addition to the game’s release, there are also some other items that have been released in conjunction with it. These include a Kingdom Hearts III-themed controller, as well as a Kingdom Hearts III-themed headset. There are also several different types of Kingdom Hearts III-themed products available for purchase, including T-shirts, caps, etc. All of these products are available on Amazon.
On September 17, 2026, the collaboration was made available for purchase through the item shop. However, the skins are scheduled to be removed from the item shop at the time of the next item shop reset, which is scheduled for October 1, 2026. Therefore, if you are looking to purchase these skins, you should make sure that you check the item shop prior to October 1, 2026.
Skin Prices
The cost of each character is different. Sora costs 1800 V-Bucks, while the remaining three characters are priced at 1600 V-Bucks. If you were to purchase every character individually, it would total 6600 V-bucks. However, when purchasing as a bundle, the total amount of money required is reduced to 4500 V-bucks. This saves you 2100 V-Bucks. Therefore, buying as a bundle is the best option if you wish to obtain the entire set of characters.
The most complete of all packages offered by Sora is his pack. This package includes a Kingdom Hearts II outfit with alternative edits based on both Kingdom Hearts I and Kingdom Hearts III, a Kingdom Key Pickaxe and Back Bling, and a LEGO Fortnite Style.
How To Get Sora For Free
If you wanted to avoid spending V-Bucks, there was another way to compete. To earn Sora, you had to place well in the Kingdom Hearts Cup (Solo-Only), which will take place on Friday, September 18, 2026. The competition will be held across three solo modes: Solo Battle Royale, Solo Zero Build, and Solo Reload Mobile.
In addition to being determined by where you live, the cutoff will be based on your geographic location.

Even if you do not come first or second in the Cup to get the Skin, you are still rewarded with Glowing Keyhole Spray by obtaining 8 points. Please be aware that this applies to Sora only. Kairi, Riku, and Roxas were obtainable through the Item Shop only.
What Every Character Contributes
The skins for each of these three characters were designed after their appearances in Kingdom Hearts II. Roxas has the black Organization XIII coat he wore in KHII and can wield both Oathkeeper and Oblivion. Riku will have Soul Eater equipped. In addition, there is a very Fortnite-specific change: Sora’s Kingdom Key is going to be swapping out the traditional Mickey Mouse charm for a Loot Llama.
Skin Extras
The Kingdom Key and Sea Salt Ice Cream were added as playable items within the game. A Mythic Kingdom Key can now be provided to all members of your squad through an Override. In addition, there was a special event where each player received both a Kingdom Key and a Sea Salt Ice Cream at the beginning of each match they played on Saturday the 19th (Kingdom Hearts Power Hours).
Is It Worth Buying
The decision depends on how much you love the series. Sora would offer the most bang for your buck if you only wanted to purchase one of these characters because he comes with different looks, and he also has a Keyblade Pickaxe. Riku, Kairi, and Roxas would be easier to justify buying as part of the Bundle rather than individually. However, if you have been a fan for a while and want all four, then the 4500 V-Bucks Bundle will provide you with the best deal.
